Hurumanu 4 Learning Story

Hi, today we are doing our learning story. It is when you share your experience about what you have done, what you have learned and what your next steps are. This is my learning story.

Hurumanu: 4 Poetic Arts
Name: Vilar Phoeuk

Reflection:
Give at least three examples in each of the boxes below.
What We Did:
  •  Watercolour art, blend, splat, drip and salt.
  •  Weaving, from the story.
  •  We were writing poetry.
What I Learned:
  •  I wrote a poem.
  •  I learned how to weave.
  •  I learned how to use different painting techniques.
My Favourite Part:
  •  The watercolour collage.
  •  Inking the tapa cloth.
  •  Weaving the paper.

I did a haiku poem which is 5 syllables for the first and third or last line. The second line has seven syllables. My haiku was about  clouds and what happens to them when they move to another country or place.
clouds move when  going to another country
They go white when there happy

They go grey when sad

i also learned how to weave with coloured paper red, yellow, blue, green and brown with different layers to give texture.  In my watercolour painting I used purple and green. We used lots of different techniques like blending, splatting, dripping and salt to give it texture.

I also did a diamante poem which is words shaped like a diamond.   My poem is called Tanlwha
